It says "8 years and older" and I think this is very nice toy for a child of 8 years. The biggest problem, however, is the manual, which is Chinese and English. Reading the manual is really necessary, but a child of 8 never has the language skills to be able to read it. Offer to the manufacturer to make the manual available in more languages.
